We would love to show you what is going on at Fr. Price Catholic High School. The first step in the Admissions process is a tour of the school. Contact me at dfleck@ftpchs.org to request a tour.
Admissions Process
Fr. Price High School is looking for students who are willing to accept the challenge of high academic standards along with joining a faith based community. Students should be open to serving others through volunteer opportunities. We encourage new and transfer students to spend at least half a day with us.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis for the 2027-28 school year. Each applicant and their parents should meet with the principal and tour the school before enrolling. There is no entrance exam for Fr. Price High School; however, a Placement Test for English and math will be administered in the spring. Accepted students will be notified well in advance of the date and time of the Placement Test.
Items need to apply online:
Copy of the student’s birth certificate,
Immunization record and
Custody agreement (if applicable) when completing the application.
Please have your child’s current school send us a copy of your child’s current year and previous years’ report card and standardized test scores.
Send your child’s current 8th Grade Math Teacher this link for a Recommendation for your child.

The application fee of $100. is waived until January, 15, 2027, if all application materials are received by this date. After January 15, please send a check in the amount of $100 made payable to St. Mary School with FTPCHS on the memo line of the check and mail to:

Application Material Overview
Tuition for the 2027-2028 school year has been set at $12,000. The fee is an all-inclusive fee and there will be no additional fees charged for books, materials, technology, etc.
Information on the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship is below. This program awards up to $7,942, based on a family’s household income. The application usually is open from February to March. Participation in some clubs and/or athletics may require an additional fee.
Parents will be responsible for purchasing school uniforms.

North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship
Applications for the 2026-2027 NC Opportunity Scholarship open on February 2, 2026 and close on March 2, 2026, There will be windows to apply again for subsequent semesters and years. The Opportunity Scholarship is open to students of North Carolina families entering Kindergarten to 12th grade. Awards range from approximately $3,000 - $7,000 based on a family’s household income. Money can be used to pay for tuition and other required fees to attend registered private schools. Since FTPCHS is an extension of St. Mary School for the 2026-2027 school year, when applying on the NC Opportunity website, choose St. Mary from the drop down menu for the school name.
